The Words I Never Said

Words never said I remember the day we moved away but I still had a lot to say. Even though I knew I was oceans away and would probably not check in everyday. But all the words in life I will write will never make you see the new day’s light. Sunrise will be beautiful and sometimes bright But now it will always feel not quite right. You won’t be there to see my son grow up and teach him lessons about life when he shows up. The day will start without your prayer for your family, so far and near. Although I wish for just one more: “Hi” God knew the pain that made you cry and it’s hard because, you know why? I never got to say “Goodbye”. It is your birthday today and mom, I pray that we will remember you on the 1st of May. Your house is now quiet and no songs to sing Instead, some flowers to your grave, we will bring. “In loving memory “is what they’ll say but this won’t take my pain away. One last birthday I will never get thinking of the words I never said. My emotions are all bottled up inside of me away from people and the world to see. Regret might weigh on my heart when I realize I won’t get that restart . You’ll be the question mark behind my “Why?” You will be a teardrop when I cry. I’ll hope that you’ll forgive me for not being by your side when I received the news that you sadly died. Saying goodbye, though you're not there. but I believe your last words to me were clear. I will stay strong and will not dispear for I had a mother that was very dear. Rest in peace, my precious mother the time will come when we’ll see each other. A candle is lit in your honor today and memories shared will always stay.
