The Witch and the Fortune Cookie-
AHH! Sum of freshly bake,
sugar caked;
hollowed out;
cookie shell so meaningful
like a dictionary words flourished
might as well make a wish;
so intense is this… recycled
oh, a strip of paper with a wish
placed inside a cookie piece
I dreamed I was in an oven;
On a cookie sheet
A mental tray, I’d discovered so meaningful
An evil witch was baking things
And on her hand she had rings
And in her oven of baking things
I discovered I was a cookie
oh, a strip of paper with a wish
placed inside a cookie piece
And when she opened me up
I turned out to be a fortune cookie
She screamed out, lookie, lookie
I winked at her, instead of being scared It’s hilarious
And I screamed and yelled
I rebuked her and said
Not this day ocean spray
So I prayed
oh, a strip of paper with a wish
placed inside a cookie piece
Not in numerology 1,2,3
God has made me
4,5,6
Guess what I’ve got deliverance
So my wish was/is
That she opened me up
A cookie
And I’d witness to her
Bout salvation
oh, a strip of paper with a wish
placed inside a cookie piece
To deter her unholy cravings
And serving demons garbage
Guess WHAT
Whom am I to judge
Everyone sometimes has a grudge
And whom am I to judge
oh, a strip of paper with a wish
placed inside a cookie piece
Step back witness, pray, embrace walk away in love
Every fortune cookie opened comes true.
Then I woke up
granted every wish every cookie on the cookie dish
but yet my wish is not the fortune cookie
but the creator of the creations
HUH!
