The Wind of Change and Electric Fire
From Hanover's heart, a thunder rolled,
A scorpion's sting, a story told.
Through decades vast, their music soared,
A legacy in rock forever stored.
Rudolf Schenker, the steady hand,
Whose riffs ignited every land.
His Flying V, a lightning strike,
That fueled the passion day and night.
Klaus Meine's voice, a soaring cry,
That reached for heavens, way up high.
A power ballad's tender grace,
Or anthems bold that filled each space.
Matthias Jabs with fingers fleet,
His solo's fire, O, so sweet.
A melodic weave, a thrilling chase,
Leaving audiences in a daze.
Francis Buchholz, the steady beat,
The rhythmic pulse beneath our feet.
Herman Rarebell, the driving force,
That charted rock's relentless course.
From "Speedy's Coming" raw and loud,
To "Wind of Change," embraced by crowd.
"Rock You Like a Hurricane's" fierce might,
Their timeless anthems burned so bright.
Through changing trends, their spirit stayed,
A rock and roll parade they made.
From stadiums vast to intimate stage,
Their energy defied old age.
They spoke of love, of freedom's call,
Their music touched the hearts of all.
A global sound, a binding tie,
Beneath the vast and endless sky.
So raise a fist, let voices ring,
For Scorpions' sting, the joy they bring.
A band of legends strong and true,
We offer up this tribute to you.
