Notes About The Poem

A trump supporter was telling me that one NOAA scientist says global warming does not exist. On that basis, he assumes all the other scientists have scammed us all. Too bad Mar a Lago will soon be Mar a Lagoon. Continuing to use fossil fuels and releasing gases like carbon dioxide, sulfur hexafluoride, nitrous oxide, and methane does not bode well for the future. It does allow certain corporate execs to continue lining their pockets. They have no concern for anyone else...not even for their own grandchildren.

Trump says global warming’s a hoax
Florida floods—just nature’s jokes 
Prepared Don is not
He acts like on pot
We think he’s had too many tokes.

Hi Maureen. I'm wondering if he's on a diet of leafy money. Whatever happened to him, I feel sorry for him. He'll never understand what humanity means, and his money won't be keeping him company when he's dead. I am thinking he's in his fall stage. All the money is starting to turn orange. What comes next? Does he become Native American or Hispanic in color? Smiles!!!

He’s a joke as president. Only again… not funny. A twice impeached felon, voted into another term by those who declare his greatness. More like a nightmare than just a wet dream. Look at that disgusting face. One not even a mother could love.

Lin, it's even worse than it seems. The government shutdown will provide the president's billionaire associates to consolidate even more power. Seeing the government used for their lust for money seems very unpleasant. It should motivate us to resist with more activities and we'll see if it comes to that and if people understand what's at stake. Smiles!!

Hi there Anaya. I don't live in Florida, but I would sell any real estate holdings there immediately if I did!! You're correct, even a true pot head high on THC 24/7 knows global warming science fits the facts. As sea levels rise, it's going to be harder and harder to keep back the salt water. The USA is the biggest oil producing nation in the world, and D.T. would rather protect the industry and send citizens around the globe (including those who live here) to hell. It's all about short-term profits and ignoring the long-term consequences. How convenient if you love billionaires who plan to live in bunkers. Smiles!!
