The Way I See It

A deplorable state of vexing conditions, A hoary head of scrambled positions Struck with angst in makeshift decisions, Entangled with Fate I see psychic Visions You'd think it'd "click" when so often burned, But beyond my Mind I feel "the pull" Despite the Truths I've come to learn, In turn I choose to be a Fool

At times in our lives we all have played the fool. The ting about really living is that it is near impossible not to make mistakes. Good for you for having done some living. Enjoyed your poem.

Thanks, Richard. I've done a lot of "hard-living". Addiction. Mental illness. Alcoholism. Far too many psychedelic drugs. I've been through the proverbial wringer; I guess my writing reflects that
