The Walk of Love
A walk, an eye, I did see beauty
Twinkling a sparkle, at me
Turn of a head, as I walked,
hitting a pole with my head
A smile with laughter, I saw
as I walked in my dreams,
Feeding my mind with pleasure
creating a wish wanted true.
One spoken word was said,
as the head bowed with shyness.
Then flowed one more soon after,
then seen a sun of smiling, I asked her
Would food comfort you, this moment,
and a reply was said, with a quit tone,
Why yes, it is my time for hunger
Then I shall feed those lips of red.
Yet after the tummy had been filled
I asked to match her lips, with a kiss
Soon after, I thought about my wish,
as time spent over time, that went on
I placed a piece of gold, upon her finger
when time did pass, age creep upon me.
The mirror had change this face
From brown to gray, came my last days
Still holding this hand of gold,
both growing old together.
With cheer in her eyes,
a small tear appeared dripping,
With three words said:
I Love You!, returning with five of my own,
I will always love you!
We then kissed and said:
Goodnight,
a love that will always be true
