"The Walk" The most precious diamonds falling every step before me wet the ground bare feet my blood, my gift, our foundations placed reverently before you solidarity I gave you gifted under burning oath of Golden Sun Where have you gone In this dream of yours? Where are all my children? Isolation gives a person time to further walk the labyrinthine caves to find treasures within...that seem to bloom from walls at will. x

Thy Kingdom Come. Poetry is such a dreadful addiction, isn't it? Each time you write the last, it prompts you to turn away and you find yourself pulled back into the dream of delivering something more beautiful, whether light or dark. One writes for themselves first to survive ... to make sense of something, perhaps of it all - then in the book I am writing (my life) - the ones they love... and perhaps to give a little of what you feel, to others, to let them know they are never alone....there is where the poems of significance grow. Thank you for your friendship through your 'terrible' poetry addiction - and do keep writing Lindley, for as long as you can. xx

thank you for that birthday verse. So not lost, one might say "found". And if not in the verse I write, in the course of the reader's own life, eventually, when they are ready. We are all walking that walk. Where achievements and titles and failings are stripped bare and we are all on the same playing field answerable to Love - that which we are all looking for inevitably. That is the Truth of it all.

A little Christ Consciousness goes a long way at present. One for the children and the children in all of us. No one is ever alone. I was watching that Ronald Reagan piece the other night, his 1987 address to the U.N. It goes like this, "Cannot swords be turned to plowshares? Can we and all nations not live in peace? In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask you, is not an alien force already among us? What could be more alien to the universal aspirations of our peoples than war and the threat of war?”

Perhaps it's more like the Corona Virus bringing us together as Humanity and not some other worldly extraterrestrial threat...Time will tell. We are all going through a huge cleansing process, and as difficult and heartbreaking as it has been and is for a lot of us, it is drawing us closer together with empathy as humans, no matter the colour of our skin, nor our religious dogma. Off on a tangent again, I'm allowed that, it's my birthday today ;). Don't you get cold sitting on that bike with no clothes on....
