My petition isn’t always answered with flare,
but I know first hand the value of prayer.
The results in my personal life will attest,
to the times God answered and I was blessed.
Sometimes my answer has been later or no,
and though disappointed I moved on with gusto.
Because it hasn’t always been my need but want,
I’ve tried to stay positive and avoid Satan’s daunt.
Philippians 4:19
