1 Manx cats have no tails 2 Kippers are a smoked herring 3 the three legs of Man is the treskilion on the manx flag 4 loughton sheep have horns and brown fur, 5 the isle of man is a celtic nation, 6 manx knobs are a type of sweet 7 we still have horse drawn trams along our promenade in douglas, 8 Queenies are Queen scallops - a manx delicacy 9 we have a wonderful steam railway, 10 Bonnag is a manx fruit cake, 11 The isle of man is famous for its TT races held in June every year. 12 we do have fairies on the island they live under the fairy bridge - when you cross the bridge its tradition to say 'hello fairies'





On the first day of Nollick my true love gave to me
A Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the second day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Two kipper baps, and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the third day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Three Legs of Mann, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the fourth day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Four Loughton lambs, Three legs of Man, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the fifth day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Five Celtic rings, Four Loughton lambs
Three legs of Man, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the sixth day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Six Tins of Manx Knobs, Five Celtic rings
Four Loughton lambs, Three legs of Man, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the seventh day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Seven Horse tram tickets, Six Tins of Manx Knobs
Five Celtic rings, Four Loughton lambs,
Three legs of Man, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the eighth day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Eight Queenie scallops, Seven Horse tram tickets
Six Tins of Manx Knobs, Five Celtic rings
Four Loughton lambs, Three legs of Man, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the ninth day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Nine Steam trains puffing, Eight Queenie Scallops
Seven Horse tram tickets, Six Tins of Manx Knobs
Five Celtic rings, Four Loughton lambs,

On the tenth day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Ten Loaves of Bonnag, Nine Steam trains puffing,
Eight Queenie Scallops, Seven Horse tram tickets,
Six Tins of Manx Knobs, Five Celtic rings,
Four Loughton lambs, Three legs of Man, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the eleventh day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Eleven TT riders, Ten Loaves of Bonnag, Nine Steam trains puffing,
Eight Queenie Scallops, Seven Horse tram tickets
Six Tins of Manx Knobs, Five Celtic rings,
Four Loughton lambs, Three legs of Man
Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
On the twelfth day of Nollick my true love gave to me
Twelve Fairy Bridges, Eleven TT riders, Ten Loaves of Bonnag
Nine Steam trains puffing, Eight Queenie Scallops,
Seven Horse tram tickets, Six Tins of Manx Knobs,
Five Celtic rings, Four Loughton lambs,
Three legs of Man, Two kipper baps
and a Manx cat but there’s no tail to see
