Heaven, shedding dark tears Makes this dull, grumpy day Sulky storms puff their chests Dressed in suits, flannel gray They brood and they grumble And complain of their mood They're damp and foreboding Yes, they're really quite rude But the weather is improving Rainbows parting the shrouds God's squeezing out toothpaste To brush bright ... the clouds! ~ 3rd Place ~ in the "Rainbows" Poetry Contest, Craig Cornish, Judge & Sponsor.

Great take on the theme Greg. I shall henceforth see the storm clouds as disgruntled gray suits huffing and puffing...

Greg, cleverly personified with each line changing like the storm itself from foreboding to happy endings and the way you played the clouds like actors in the sky.

I don't like dark days, but I could never "say" them as well as you have done. And to end them so hopefully.
