The Truth Demands a Verdict
God's truth reveals His ultimate plan
making clear to man He's their judge
giving mankind a choice at life's end
reminding that God is no soft fudge
Man has been told to follow God's way
for it's for his good and saving his soul
this loving God showers out His mercy
to rescue man from his darkest hole
But if man would reject God's offer
the stairway is down for ever down
at the end flames in full glow
only sorrow no more acting the clown
This choice has eternal consequences
for when made there's no way back
satan's grip gets tighter if you refuse
it's then continually all the way dark
But God sent Jesus for your deliverance
His only begotten son He gave for you
take His offer of life eternal quickly
no time to waste your debt is due
The truth demands a verdict
choose life and all it conveys
never to regret again that choice
for if not it's painful all your days
