Notes About The Poem

?My limericks, with commentary, are collected in Original Clean Limericks, available from Amazon. See my book links.

The Tin Pan of Woe

The eating of pie before dinner,
It isn’t on point to get thinner.
It’s best to let go
That tin pan of woe,
And be a calorical winner.

What an excellent limerick Jerold, I'm so glad to see you have published a book - I have self published 2 books on Amazon both contain many limericks, but unlike your style mine is rather bawdy or poopy! write on! hugs Jan xx

Thanks, Jan, I greatly appreciate the support. Not to do things by halves, in May I published four books on Amazon: one on limericks, two epics, and a prose work putting over 100 authors in the same tavern for one night, constructed from their own quotes. When I have more material I'll do one on sonnets... "Bride of the Sea" coming Friday.
