The Ticking Clock
Clock, staring at me from the wall
Reminding me of Adam and Eve's Fall.
Thus, on this fear filled earth, I walk.
I have no more time for godless, tawdry
and cheap talk.
Nor shall I ever play Hitler's game.
That killing one, a deadly cocktail of
fear and shame.
Each person was free to follow his will.
Never forced by government's lying
swill.
If your government flies terrorists to
your shore,
Beware, you might find one standing
at your own front door.
The laws of America in a basket thrown,
And only Sharia law will you soon own.
At Dunkirk, all joined to fight the enemy.
Today, you gave away all your rights to
be unfree??
You would not dare write a poem like
this.
A few here that would, I send you my
prayers and a kiss.
On the planet, you hide behind bushes.
Or in water like Moses, in tall bulrushes.
People here, oh, how they drool over dogs,
What do you think the Taliban will do
with stolen military dogs,
Is your brain in a cous- cous fog?
Dancing in denial, you buy "few were left
behind?"
Thousands will get heads chopped off,
but you have a beer, and play denial in
your mind!
