Isn’t it incredible
That we can be the temple
Of the Holy Spirit
Who brings a sense of assurance
Wisdom, hope, comfort
Peace that is like a smile
Kind and bright
As soothing as sunshine
Dewdrops or rainfall
Pulsing against the ground
Almost as gently
As His spirit whispers
Into silence and prayers
Love that is unconditional
Life beyond this temple
That is home to Him
The Holy Spirit
Third person of the trinity
Gentling, gifting us
With hope, faith and love
That comes from God above
Isn’t it amazing? Isn’t love like this
Worthy of praising?
I worship Him in spirit and in truth
Always remembering
He fills up my heart and soul
With a love that can only grow
More pure, abundant and adoring
Love like His is worth knowing!
