The Superb Comment

I recall a superb comment when

I first posted a poem here, but then

what dismay! I could see

beneath most poetry

that same comment again and again!

Bravo, Andrea! Most do not really take the time to read a poem thoughtfully. They do not understand the poem usually. This is very frustrating for the poor damn poet. Kick 'em in the butt! Love, daver

'Copy & Paste' simply a waste, and summed up in your Limerick Andrea. On a site of many, it's hard to please all. Eventually within it's politics, some stay some fall. But within this sites mix, there are others who'll abound. They may just be words, but they all have a sound - James...........,

This is what Eileen's poem "Great Write" is all about. I know I'm one poet that doesn't have much to say apart from what's in my own poetry. (7)

:D Good one, Andrea! Many of us have had similar experiences. It's called "copy and paste." I know you read poems before commenting on them and I do the same. Best wishes in Jack's contest. Love, Carolyn

That tired repost of that poetry soup ghost. To the freshness of presence with renewed expressence. A klink of the glass for a comment with class. I drink of the fruit with an uncommon toast. Peace. :)

Yes, some people do just copy and paste all their comments which when one finds that to be true can be very hurtful..However, if the person at least partially or wholely reads the poem it is better than nothing..Once a person gets a list of people that they follow it is hard to do the best by all for there are only so many free hours in a day..Thanks for the visit to my blog and my poems..I appreciate the time spent there..Sara

ok as i type this with my scissors and glue just to my left. it occurs to me that this very original comment that i took from someone else probably doesn't apply in this paste oops i mean case. why do i enter contests with all the great poets here. i think i have masochistic tendencies. signed Georgette
