What makes life unfair? The fact that you have the purest love yet no companion to share? Or is it that you put your heart on your sleeve? And in the end broken promises arise and again it's time to leave. It's become a repeated pattern in today's broken society That no matter who you meet, it's a very limited variety You hold your wall so high and fear to trust again. Each time that wall comes down your heart is broken and again it's up for you to mend. You begin to question your security, you're worth and where you stand. But in all actuality you humbly give to anyone, you're trembling but loving hand. You asked God if I do for anyone, why can't I find that one? That one who will never leave me, who will stand beside me until my life is done? God whispers back "My girl you will not fail." "I promise to walk beside you until that love reveals." "You must learn to love yourself and continue to grow with me by your side." You may feel as if you walk alone but I'm here along your ride. You may not see me or feel me by your side. But Learn to love yourself again and I promise to you, I will provide. You've come a long way and I promise one day to fill your voids with love. But I ask that today you focus on yourself while I watch you from above. Your pain, your hurt and your struggles will one day fade away.
