The Storm Come Rollin In
the prince called out for the poppers hand
as the muse penned a poem bout a foren land
the maid was in the kithhen cooking for the king
as the storm come rollin in
the queen lay still on her royal bed
waiting for her lover or so its said
the dogs would howel and growel at him
as the storm come rollin in
the maid served tea in the royal hall
and for the servent she did call
the pesant an the popper held a dimond ring
as the storm come rollin in
the mare rode up in the sothern stabel
the king sat at the royal tabel
the queen to the lover said come on in
as the storm come rollin in
the prince stood at the misty window
the servent pollished the priceless christal
and tea was served just for the king
as the storm come rollin in
the stabel boy calmd the mare in vain
the pesant braved the driving rain
went to the town to price the ring
as the storm come rollin in
the muse was busy with his pad an pen
almosed got inspired when
the door bursed open to the inn
as the storm come rollin in
the prince to the popper where have you been
the popper proudly preached what he had seen
the pesant with a precious dimond ring
as the storm come rollin in
the king climbs to the second floor
the lover makes his move for the door
the pesant makes a profet from the keeper of the inn
as the storm come rollin in
the king sleeps in a king size bed
and twenty thousand on the pessants head
as the prince heads for the village inn
as the storm come rollin in
the muse packs up his case of leather
the prince chops through the dagger weather
rode through the pesant soaked to the skin
as the storm come rollin in
i dont understand the poppers intention
to set up the pessant with a story invention
the prince rode back with the profet from the ring
as the storm come rollin in
in the morning when i come awake
my pad and pen are what iwill take
ill write it quick what i was dream-in
as the storm come rollin in
