The Sprigs and Spirit of Sistine -9

In Erythrae they say I'm a prophetess but I am foremost a Poetess, an ancient fragrance fires my breast, the cherubim wake eager for journey lighting my lamp in the breeze of prophetic poetry, Maternity manifest in Divine quest Omnipotence picks her innocence Time begins a Trinity tick Heaven heaves her body Eclipse elevates eyes Roses bleed in celebration Miracle marches on Angels avow annunciation Rain runs down the road to Bethlahem Youth breaks open to holy birth... I like how you describe the "Trinity tick" of time - great touch! "Heaven heaves her body" Very beautifully raw and laborious language..loving it! Always, Laura

According to ancient accounts the Oracle of Erythrae would self induce a meditative trance upon herself and record her prophecy by composing acrostic poems or verses Laura. Naturally, I wrote an acrostic poem that is pristine and spiritually relevant to the overall message of the Sistine ceiling and this composition. I was infused with a splendid sense of mystery awakening as I composed the poem within a poem utilizing the acrostic style which was a sheer thrill to piece together. My acrostic spells the name, Mother Mary, and of course the poem imparts the Immaculate Conception and ensuing birth of Christ...J.A.B.
