The Space
My wings have spread for an ending's flight,
My soul soared long before this day.
Love was fairly unfair , yet my heart lacks despair,
Let the space between birth and death say.
His heart wore my heart so graciously,
He asked permission, I answered, "you may".
I was thought not aware by the masses who stare.
Let the space between birth and death say.
Mother warned me of hidden intentions,
Father proved them by his display.
He intended to care, but his promises, bare,
Let the space between birth and death say.
I lay cold and stiff, yet free
No more words filled with pain and dismay.
Say what you must, and you will, no more anguish to feel,
Let the space between birth and death say.
