For Natasha L Scragg's Ewe Too poetry contest...

Sally was a silly sheep, all she did all day was sleep. She was woolly with skin so fair. All the rams loved her silky hair. But she'd always give them a scare, as her voice they could not bare. They would run ever so far, as she could not go baa, baa, baa. What made sally feel really blue, instead of baa, her voice would go boo! Sally slept, as she felt so lonely, all her friends seemed a bit phony. Until she met a tone deaf ram, he said: " Hello, my name is Graham." Frankly, he didn't give a damn, if Sally sounded like a scam. No longer did she feel lazy, as they fell in love so crazy. No fear of sounds they would compose, freely, they grazed green grass meadows.

Love the humour in your poem. I like your take on theme about a sheep that's a little from the usual in that it goes boo instead of baa. This is a good poem to use as an example for teaching to accept and respect the differences of others. Thank you for your entry. Congrats on your placement :-D

SO, nice to see that even those out far on the edge of the bell curve can find something pleasant in life. That's a good lesson about tolerance embedded in here. I can see you had fun with the rhymes.

Seems you had fun with this one Silent One. Poor Sally she had no friends because she would boo instead of baa. Guess it was fate that she and Graham met and fell in love , and her boo or baa was of no relevance to him whatsoever. And so they lived happily ever after Lovely little poem for children or could'be interpreted elsewise as well. from two forlorn people destined to find one another and therefore happiness. I enjoyed reading this poem, Be well always SO hugs and blessings Jennifer.

Your intelligence and creativity are truly impressive, Silent One. Your writing is both delightful and uplifting, much like the beauty of a spring day. Sally, the sheep who boos instead of baaing, is a charming and unforgettable character. Wishing you the best of luck in the contest.

I think this sheep and i have something in common, i say boo alot too, haha. So cute this is really. Awwn so cute it is the ending too to fall in love and live happily ever after despite differences, theres always one that is meant to be in your life. I love so many lines in this! But most of all it is the rhymes , and the storytelling flow of this, that truly stands out! “ Sally slept, as she felt so lonely, all her friends seems a bit phony.” Me too! Haha! Phony ones that i aint got time for. Funny how this poem resonates so deeply to me too! Loveee this
