It started off So innocent and fresh We are now you and I More and more distinct Day after day after day And the drift irreconcilable The bridge is shattered Hopelessly irreversible I’m drained, I’m empty I have nothing more to give There’s more to life And I want to live it You won’t stand in my way I have to go my separate way AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Posted on March 4, 2018

So heartbreaking, and one sees inside the soul of one who feels lost for awhile. I'm sure everyone has felt this way at some time in their life. Time heals.......Thankfully, with patience and a new day.
