The Shadows

The Shadows The shadows follow me wherever I go, like a lost soul sailing on the black sea in the night, searching for the light to set them free. Why do they follow me? Can it be I am their light? Can I be the one that can set them free? The shadows, the shadows, should I just let them be? What can I do? They creep up on me. They live in a dark world, alone and afraid, looking for comfort and someone to come to their aide. They lurke and breath, I can feel their breath and hear their sighs, They keep approaching me how can I let this be? If I close my eyes, they appear, when I close my eyes I feel their fears. Maybe the light is not what they need, maybe the dark is comming for me. Shadows, shadows, please go away I am not ready to leave this world, do not take me away.
