Congrats on your win for this new haiku, it's really lovely with its imagery of foxes being protected by sentinel trees. Or are they protecting the home FROM the foxes? hmmm... either way, it's lovely.

I could just imagine this…Trees standing at guard while foxes in moonlight walk through the shadows. Congrats Andrea.

A lot going on here ... I think it’s kind of cute how the “sentinel” conjures up a feeling of protection for the foxes. Almost like the “happy little trees” in a Bob Ross painting. Lol. Excellent haiku.

A feast for the intellect, Andrea ... Superb 'foxes in the dark' ... 'the sentinel trees' sound deep ... Great work ... By the way, thank you very much for your encouragingly brief review of my poem 'Why the ocean flows' ... A great support ...

ew, so good. Mine's sad (posted today) because trash has ruined my relationship with nature. I miss you so much that I almost just called, and still might. Again, so very good, Andrea. Love ya, CayCay

Debbie Guzzi would approve. As she says “Simple as porridge.” Nicely expressed Andrea. Hugs Rick.
