The Scenes He Loves To Portray

When the sun has not yet reached its zenith,
this man I know
prefers to show the world he sees
depicting it when trees first don
their leafy garments.
He dips his brush into viridescent hues.
Strokes of emerald play upon his canvas
as the world waking up from dreariness
he lovingly and graciously portrays.

Gemstone dots of peridot and shades of jade
dance across his canvas,
bringing life to pastoral scenes of
landscapes of farmland
and of meadows.
Oh, what joy he takes in creating scenes
of life when it's again reborn.

Andrea, love the way you have painted the Spring scene. You have cleverly brought in a gifted artist with a palette of green shades to make the pastoral scenes once more come alive.

It's got to be a great pleasure to be able to paint the beauty you see as an artist. Good choice of topic for the contest, Andra. Good luck! Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

Would that spring is here. I dread winter. Now its autumn and already taking a shower needs a heater on, far away of course. Lovely images. Lovely phrase : viridescent hues. Hugs and blessings.
