A Willow Not Weeping
I dance above sunlit seeds, rustling inside the wind,
freefalling into rows of garnet and amber-
seeking sights of warmth and comfort, I seize the
moment when I fear nothing but the eventide
ascending too soon.
I skip outside lingering fields of emerald grass;
its roots nourish my appetite and I glow in grace.
I serenade with ease as the Summer spends her
time with me-
revealing all her secrets, as if she was always mine.
For I am but a willow not weeping;
my bark embraces my branches and I am forever
in love with Mother Nature and all her daily fruits.
The Lord bestows His mercy onto me-
as I rustle inside the wind...
dancing above starlit seeds.
