The Red Rose

He walked by on his country walk, to see a garden full of leaves and one red rose nearby a tree. He pondered significantly how this rose could still exist. Coming back day after day; he truly thought the rose would be diminished. But to his surprise it still stood without a blemish. The man kept coming as he would walk by the garden full of leaves to see the flower; nothing touching it, not even a ray. Years past and the man could not see. A couple more came by freely. Now the man is truly happy. For he is buried by the tree and the garden is full again, but not with leaves. Roses gleam in mid day as sunlight hits them as they sway.
