The Raindrop
The Raindrop
Lonely raindrop full of woe
Splashes down no place to go
Bringing forth the pains of Earth
Exploding with a worthless worth
Within its deluge you can see the tears
Lonely raindrop shows its years
Look inside and you will find
The pestilence of mankind
The blood and sweat in a micro small
Of the yearning heart in a heavy haul
Amidst the sorrows that cascade
A lonely raindrop that has strayed
Give it time and you shall see
Before it joins the great big sea
For when the heavens sadly cry
One lonely raindrop to reply
There is much to bear in just one drop
As the universe spreads with its crop
Without the one there would not be many
For the lonely raindrop makes the plenty.
