The Quilt of Life
Like quilting our lives start small with only a few patches.
As we make progress in life our patches start to form a quilt.
As we make accomplishments the quilt grows.
As we make mistakes, the material fades, becomes stained or tears.
Some stains are so bad that they must be taken out.
This leaves noticeable differences in the pattern.
At the end of our lives we start finishing the last stitches of the quilt.
We look back on it and see the joys, the pains and the just plain weird.
Some make us smile and laugh.
Others make us sad and tears may fall.
How ever big or small the quilt is depends on you.
Adventures, deaths, relationships, they each have a special place on the quilt of life.
What will your quilt look like?
