The Quick Fix Diet

Americans are easy prey for the latest diets of the day. (The food and diet industries are experts at selling fantasies!) Now, with dieting and eating there’s a relationship that compares to one in nature called symbiotic. That happens when two biologic organisms benefit each other even when they are dissimilar. And I don’t mean to be a cynic, but symbiotic sounds parasitic. The results of overeating will, and do, have side-effects that kill, and dieting when it’s excessive becomes addictive and obsessive. The dieter, by skipping dinner, may think he’s getting thinner but the loss of calories intended is later by over-eating augmented. Financially, of course, it’s not funny except the food and diet industry fattens on your thinning money!
