The Prodigal

It is so much of a task
To get myself to ask
If I knock will you open the doors?
Will you cover me with you clean clothes?
Will you embrace me with welcoming arms?
Will you treat me like I was lost but now I’m found?
Will you say that what I cost you don’t matter now?
