The Pre-School Crowd

By the age of 3 or 4 Some traits are set in stone. Who will be a leader, Who will spend more time alone. Who’ll be bossy, who’ll be shy, Who confident and cool; Who will linger, who will be The first one in the pool. Yet what is really wonderful is most have not yet learned to discriminate, so make their choice of friends without regard to colour, height, weight, religion, socio-economic status, etc., They are what they are and accept others for being just who they are. Well done, Ilene! Aloha! Rico

Ths s so true. 99%. (There's always someone who surprises). Wise words you've dispensed here, Ilene. I 've actually come to think that 'school' and 'life' are the processes of undoing all the harmful stuff picked up through age 4. What say you?! Smiles, Gershon
