The Poet

What inspires the poet's hand to write? What triggers his mind to think? It is nothing but a thing Which to all, is ordinary. The poet sees what's hidden and unseen; Hear the words unheard, feel the unfelt And know the meaning behind the mystery. In hunt for thoughts, the poet Travels beyond his imagination; Reaches the unreachable destination. Wandering in his infinite territory, He hunts from heaven to hell; From life to death in search For evil and good, for ugly and beauty. At the command of the poet, The pen writes the beautiful lines. So deep are the poet's lines, No shallow mind can comprehend. One needs a poets head to understand. Life is surrounded by mysteries; Its meaning, only a poet can unveil.
