- The Pink Panther -

The Pink Panther it's just timeless
Gallant and brave without any stress
His wardrobe is monotonous and girly
The intro music is jazzy and popularly

Love it, Anne-Lise. Hey, what did the Pink Panther say when he stepped on an ant? "Dead-ant, dead-ant...dead-ant, dead-ant, dead-ant" LOL- BOL in the contest. Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend :) Hugs

You're so funny! What happened to the peanut walking on the beach? He was assaulted. This is CayCay at Anne-Lise's place in her Pink Panther space.

Brilliant character! I love cartoons! I have an original drawing sent to me by a retired Disney artist. Him and his wife life in Death Valley, and love it. This is awhile back, hoping they are still healthy and doing well, as I only actually spoke to him once via telephone. A real gentleman.

popularly? As one who often abuses grammar and words, I adore 'popularly'. I've not seen another Clerihew about the Pink Panther. I KNOW, I KNOW he was fun to watch for the majority of people but even when small, I thought he was beyond dumb, just like Maxwell Smart. Are you familiar w/ that show? Very good, Anne-Lise! Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Dear Anne-Lise, your poem is a fun and quirky tribute to the Pink Panther! You've captured his suave and carefree personality perfectly. The contrast between his 'girly' wardrobe and 'gallant and brave' demeanor is especially amusing. Brilliant!
