The Pills Have Arrived

The pills have arrived! I am back in business. Been waiting so long, For at least a week. Crud, there goes my heart! I am flushed; it’s racing. I getting concerned; Past the four hour peak. I just want to meet A real hot looking girl, A girl that I don’t have to pay. My friends will shut up, And they’ll leave me be; Won’t assume I’m “that way.” To avoid the look When the General falls, Of disgust and dismay. I won’t fear the night; I can finally come out and play. My heart needs a rest, And I need a refill. I’m hitting the town; I might even score. Now I can move out Of my parents’ basement, And I’ll date once more. —————

You lot are total cards, there isn't one that hasn't had me in stitches, and Jeff this one is no less the exception, the thought of you still living at home with your parents, a total killer, ha, ha, ha, you so need to be released, if not, it's back to the pills . . . ; )

sometimes, we take poetic license... 4 kids and 8 grandkids, lol, but I was hoping for a laugh on the last lines :-)

I almost chose this tune to write my parody for the contest. Sure glad I didn't, because this is superb. I decided to go with a song from South Pacific. Good one, Jeff.

This is good...hilarious, frankly! It should be a winner if it sings, and I haven't tried to sing it.

borders on the "off color" side, but it does sing! :-) Thanks, I am having fun with these, but have no idea what I would submit. It is funny that my Supercalif poem came 1 day out before the contest, Natasha said she preferred one from yesterday or later, or I'd have used that one.
