We witnessed our first snow of the year thus far here in New Jersey, where I live. We got about two or three inches last night but with the temperature fast to rise it had melted away by morning. Pretty while it last, but it was a beautiful thing that I didin't have to shovel. :)

It came down slow, it came down heavy It covered up, my Hot Rod Chevy I went to clean off the snow today But what do you know, it melted away

Hello Charles, I envy your climate - snow with a short life span. Here in the north, there's still snow about courtesy of Canadian cold. An enjoyable write, Charles. Be well. Brian

My very fist disgust with snow was when my father appointed me our home's official snowpath remover! / Maurice

We got a dusting of snow from that event here in Maryland. I like it when it comes for a short visit--I agree--perfect...beautiful...

Love your tongue-in-the-cheek type of poetry.

I'm with Kim on this one, Charles. You're getting too old to shovel snow. LOL
