He is the light He is the life He is the music in the trees He puts the winds beneath the wing He frees the heart so it can breathe He lifts me up so I can see the love that lives because He is the love that gives because He sees beyond the darkness, through the grief the gentle touch – it is more than love it is the One who brought us hope it is the One who taught us to cope it is the One who freed my soul it is the love that died on that cross so I could see – He did this for me He made a way through the fear He reassured me despite the tears He came to me and I believe He is the answer – the ever after He is love and He is grace He is the One who my soul will embrace forever, throughout the coming days He is the Savior and He is the One I praise I’m so thankful for this love that will amaze I’m so thankful that He came to save I’m so thankful and I’ll always pray for the chance to tell Him, I love Him and I’m forever astonished at what His love has done I am forever delighted, my soul so excited because He is my life – He was the sacrifice who gave me the hope I have, hope of eternity in the Presence of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost… Just look what love has done – He’s the One, the only One who can take away the fear and wipe away the tear so love sings through the years, silencing all the doubt reassuring hearts that they have all they need – in the One whose love so completely freed… I’m so thankful to abide in His peace.
