The only beauty This early winter morning with a chill upon the air A mourning dove is singing melodies for us to share Frost collects the valley glistening on fields of green Bringing us a vision of a wonderland pristine And as the sun is rising on the distant dawning skies The only beauty that I see is found within your eyes Good morning Soupers

Beautiful rhyme, Chris, with such smooth tempo and delightful imagery ... there is romance in almost everything, I believe, it just takes altering your perspective at times ... you see the world through imaginative eyes, and for me, that is the truth to good poetry and a happy life.
