The Ocean Is

"the ocean is" stronger than waves more hypnotizing than tides more graceful than a seagull the ocean sits a touch of wind a shadow of the moon endless reflective crystal waters in magnificence the ocean is sing to me crashing waves upon rocks place me in a trance with rolling tides never end the far wide and beyond for its wonder and openness breathes such is the reason why seagulls fly above just as souls look for oneness and peace seagulls know the only place to be softer than waves more mesmerizing than tides mightier than a seagull the ocean stands a hint of a breeze a glimpse of sunlight endless sparkling blue waters in wonderment the ocean is SkyWatcher - 03-26-17

This is beautiful Lisa. The ocean is so many things to so many people, but your poem touches on the wonder and the hypnotic quality of allowing the mind to float upon the waves and listen to the unending cadence of its haunting melody. So very beautiful.
