The Nature of Nature
There's one thing that's certain in this big world of ours
You can never count on things staying the same
It's an ever-changing scenario this thing we call nature
New rules are being applied to the game
Norms and patterns that have applied for a century
Don't apply in this world of today
The nature of nature is quickly evolving
We can no longer rely on the days of yesterday
It's really quite difficult for our small human brains
To accept this and carry on like usual
Depending on how old we are, exponentially speaking
We're all part of a life that's irreversible
So when I think about age and getting on in years
I'm thankful for being born way back then
Happily, this old geezer will be gone and forgotten
With this strange new world, won't have to contend
