The Music That's You

This little melody so sweet Humming along my heartbeat Leaving a sense of wonder And a skip in my feet. Is it the breeze of this noble sunset? Buzzing of canopies or just birds' fret? But wait, this tune did resonate, From the day we first met. Your little giggles and nudges irksome, Shape the crux of this gentle strum, Reverberating through my veins A low, yet pleasant thrum. Even though these miles we endure, And all this waiting has me sore Your song in my head, so mellow Keeps me craving for more.
