This is a brilliant tanka, you know it would of placed higher other than the typo. Personally I stick my tongue out and plea poetic license! This is a fav for me.

This was very interesting and I like how you kind of gave a twist to the old "you without sin throw the first stone." Did you mean green grass "strokes" the skin? I am such a stickler for things like that, or this would have scored higher!
