The Miracle of Change

THE MIRACLE OF CHANGE A vision flew before my eyes And opened up the skies, There it stood as I knelt down, And rose again to touch His crown, I was in awe, Its splendour will never thaw, For in that wondrous space of time, My soul soared up to start its climb. And in my heart of hearts I knew, I had been shown the only clue, I closed my eyes for what I saw, Will stay with me for evermore.

I think my comment on this one and several others were deleted by the system through some accident. What I said for this one was that anyone who has a vision is very lucky indeed. They are few and far between and most people have never had one. They are the result of tremendous feeling and transition in the human mind. Yes, they stay with us forever and will always be a comforting and wonderful thing to remember.

This reminds me of when I was young and you lay on your back in the grass, look up to the sky and sun, close your eyes and the next minute it feels like you are seeing a bright light....bringing back memories for me, thanks Jenny, enjoyed the poem. Kim

what word speaks to emotion. what cools the passions of mn. what excites the woman, to be devoted. when does love really begin?

Hi Allan, Thank-you for your comment. Devotion comes from the heart and the soul. I had an experience when I felt the presence of God - my dad had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer and I turned to my faith even more. I sacrificed something - I wore black for a year, and my dad lived for a year and a half longer. Initially he was only given 6 weeks. Kindest regards, Jennifer
