The oak - nothing mightier; and so lovely that it really does start with a lone acorn. All of mine turn into tiny oaks and I have the little acorns at the bottom to prove it when I pull them out of the ground around my swingset. Congratulations on a wonderful poem and a terrific win!

You wonder who the mighty is the wind or the strong oak. I'm going with the oak. Congratulation on the win...

As I close my eyes, I can see the limbs moving and the leaves falling to the ground.

Great nature haiku, Andrea! First you won with an acorn poem, then with a mighty oak, I detect a theme this week, haha! I love the picture of the sturdy oak tree withstanding the wind. Congratulations!
