The Majority Rules the Minority's Rights
or
Still Trying To Get Big Babies On Board with a Rational Ethics
"I detesht having to shtep outshide for a shigarette."
-- a drunk to his drunk date
driving home from TGIF
* * *
I wore a tie in court to claim a cigarette is taxed
much more than wine still served at family restaurants and bars,
the policies on alcohol still being too relaxed --
booze killing countless babies still by judgment tanked in cars.
* * *
a dedication of Respect
for
the ceaseless Pain of alcohol-related deaths untold due to
cancer, heart failure, liver damage, alcohol poisoning, and violence
(aside from car accidents)
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
the nasty habit of smoking
april, 2023 -- yet legions of "light" drinkers having
just one more
