The Magic of Music

The Magic of Music Neither a musician am I, nor an aficionado be. Music brings me joy, when there is sorrow. Perchance a love song lights my tomorrow. Blues appropriate when I am low. Jazz, Samba, oh such zest. Magically, true soul fest. Mind gets still. Heart sings. Pleasurings.           May 27, 2020               2pm PST           Poem #1,300

I'm glad you pointed this one out to me, Pangie. I agree wholeheartedly. To every moment is a song to help us celebrate or to give us comfort. I see you are also a lover of Samba music. The Gilbertos of Brazil: João, Astrud, Bebel. Love 'em. Music hugs ~ John

Beautiful, Panagiota! I, too, love music. It goes straight to the soul and has the power to change a person's outlook or mood with just a few notes. Have a wonderful evening :) xx Rhonda

One has to turn to what pleasures us so that we don't go quite batty - honestly, if it wasn't for poetry soup I would lead the Batty brigade! Great write my friend keep loving music and dancing - funny I also used the word 'Agape" in my second last poem. Hugs Panagiota mou, Jennifer Jennifer.
