Lay It On Me / Charles Messina

Too much pain wrestles in my dark, forcing limps that stifle my spark. Trekking "the long and winding road," I seek You for a faith reload. Praising Your road paved with faith's seed, I will find where pain does recede.

A sort of prayer everyone likes. My pain will not disappear easily though. Poetry hugs.

Dear CayCay, your prayerful poem is simply beautiful and deeply moving. The imagery is filled with emotional pain, longing and determination to "find where dark does recede. Warmest wishes, my poet friend.. ~Susan

Yes, the long and winding road can lead us to our Maker, who only wants peace for us. Nice take on the theme

some dude pictured on boxes of rice, he was entering the poem, just as you were leaving, didn't you see him, sort of an orange smear? I was addressing you both in the same box, a hi and a bye. CayCay
