- the Little Boat -

Boat over the water
             crossed unused days
             with expectations
             You were in sunshine
             and rain
             with wet heavy paddles
             you bent the wind
             and rode the waves

                   Changes over time: the life course
                   an insensitive cold wind
                   singing
                   toward land
                   seek shelter from autumn's storm
                   When anchoring -
                   a little straw
                   is not enough

Once it victoriously rode over waves, but in time, its powers have declined.Congratulations Smile on your win in Brian's contest.
