The List at Christmas
Gifts…
to people,
that need nothing.
They are so silly.
The rich,
playing to the rich,
while the homeless man
stands in a line for soup,
without meat.
The matter of giving is questioned.
The percentage of your heart,
that is counted, closely.
Do you have more than you need?
Do you have enough to share?
A coat, extra socks, shoes unused,
all of it a wealth of promise.
to someone out there…
that has none.
The seasons help,
with bringing light,
but do not fully.
show the plight.
It is an everyday event,
to be an Angel…
and to be sent.
Put on your wings,
give up your wallet.
Remember you too,
are among the few,
that have more,
than your share,
of the score.
Things gained,
can be lost.
do not lose,
but choose,
to be more,
then before.
You will be counted…
again,
but not for sin.
as you are saved
by Grace,
it is not a race.
Bow your head…
and then,
make
your
case.
Show your face,
be lifted.
You have been…
“Gifted!”
