I've never red a better haiku. It meets all the requirements of a haiku - it has the right syllable count, it has a double meaning, death for leaves and death for humans. Our hair changes color when we get old and approach death.

Hello Pandita, you will write a haiku like this one day. Yes the falling leaves are beautiful in colours, red, yellow, orange, and brown. Then when they are on the ground they must be raked up and put into paper bags to be collected. By a special truck.

Happens every year time to get the rake out. I have lots of trees and lots of those leaves. I am getting tired just thinking about it Darlene. Thanks for reminding me lol. Enjoyed reading.

Hello Micheal, I always say " Why does the leaves fall down all the time, instead why don't they fly upward to the sky instead? I never get an answer. Have a nice day my friend.
