The Kiss

so still the silence that flutters by softly like the butterfly's wing A look, a gaze into the deepest darkest sea Yet shines so bright like the brightest star gazed in the heavens from afar A laughter, a smile dwells there I look, but a misty veil clouds my gaze But not of sorrow but of joy soft wetness falls on to my breast Your touch tenderly wipes away my tears And with them all my fears As your lips caress and blend with mine That very first time We kissed
